A leading Network Service Company, bringing together various technologies for addressing the Network Life-cycle requirements of telecom service providers, technology providers (OEM’s) and globally distributed enterprises requires:


Key Tasks
Field Manager is responsible for Telecom Implementation process in customer projects.

Key tasks:


Network planning interface
Agrees the site solution to be used together with regional project manager and regional network planning manager. Ensure site visits are done according to the project site process.

Tools usage and data update
Manages and coordinates the Implementation process according to agreed customer time schedule in region. Ensures the correct usage of project tools (EPM) and the data content.

Communication and Collaboration
Within the region, ensures clear communication interfacing among different functions (network planning, site acquisition and permitting, civil works, logistics, subcontractors). Participation in customer interfaces and meetings as required.

Logistics related tasks
Responsible for the timely ordering of all equipments and site materials (CW and DC power materials separately by CW manager) in cooperation with the Logistics

Implementation resource planning
Ensures implementation resourcing is planned properly for region and zone. Provide demand plan for implementation teams (Installation, commissioning and integration). Internal and external resourcing accordance with NI outsourcing strategy.

Team establishment

Supports in building up and maintaining an organizational structure in region and zone level for the project implementation team together with project implementation manager, regional project manager and zone managers.

SA and permitting interface
In region, ensures the model site documentation and information is provided for SA and permitting purposes. Provide needed support towards the authorities in permitting issues

CW interface
In region, provides equipment related site specific technical requirements to CW teams. Provides support and control over service suppliers in order to ensure smooth transition between CW and Implementation according to the overall project schedule.

Service supplier interface
Works with regional project manager and service procurement to review rollout and technical competence of service suppliers. Provides necessary project related documents to service supplier teams. Ensures adequate Quality and timely supply of the service supplier teams. When needed arrange training and assessment to service supplier teams. Sort out technical challenges together with service suppliers.

Customer interface
Responsible for a site from ready for Installation milestone until the issuance of the Final Acceptance Certificate (including site installation, commissioning and integration). Provides required progress reporting for customer needs.

Reporting and meeting responsibilities
Supports to regional PM to prepare / update roll-out schedule (ePM). Supports regional PM regarding implementation
Quality assurance and Risk Management. Participates in "daily" progress meeting with regional project team. Reports to regional project manager all equipment implementation deviations from the original planning, i.e. Extra works, delays, cancellations, etc

- Documentation
Ensure document control and storage system set up and used properly. Ensure legal documents are securely stored

- Deliverables/performance measures:
Implementation lead times; Customer satisfaction in projects; necessary Support Site Implementation Documents in place

- Reporting lines:
Business Unit: CMO Indonesia, Network Implementation
Reporting lines: Project Engineer, Site Engineering

Subordinates: Implementation specialists/engineers in the project

Technician or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering or similar level of studies according to mentioned degrees.

Min 6 years' implementation planning or field management experience in project work in implementation works for telecommunication systems. Understanding of NSN’s delivery process and different product and site processes.


Understanding NSN's site and delivery processes. Ability to work in multi-national environment and in customer interface. General know how of cost management. Co-operation/managerial skills to follow up partners and sub-contractors
