Valve Engineer
(Jawa Barat - West Java)


* This role exists within our operation in Offshore West Java. Rotational working schedule to our site in Offshore West Java will be applied.

* Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

o Supervise and carry out work with contractors to maintain valve reliability, and quality control of protective system work (especially for shutdown valve and blow down valve and control valve)
o Assure the implementation of all maintenance program in the field are executed and that all deviations from the approved standards and processes are identified, and report back to technical authority
o Assess competency of personal who doing the services (workshop repair, engineering, Field personnel and QA/QC) to support projects and
o Identify areas for improvement in HSE by actively sourcing and implementing learning and best practices
o Assist technical authority in the verification and validation / certification of document, people and equipment supplied through contract and where appropriate provide coaching and advice on the equipment for operation or other related teams


* Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Physic Engineering with a minimum of 7 years applicable experience with specific experience in quality assurance and control on project and maintenance
* Engineering experience and working knowledge of design and selection of valve, instrumentation process and piping
* Hands on experience on operation and maintenance of Oil and Gas Industry
* Familiar with international codes and standards of Oil and Gas facility especially offshore, and various valve manufacturer
* Posses and advanced level of experience, judgment, and practical knowledge of facilities, standards and codes, and engineering principles
* Proficient in written and spoken English to a level to be able to communicate to the required standard with internal and external peers and business associates
* Good communication and coordination skills
